Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
A: Your carpets and home environment are inevitably affected by pets, dirt, bacteria, germs, dust, allergens, mould and more which can move through carpet fibres causing damage and odour. Deep down cleansing through professional carpet cleaning is the best defence to keep your carpets looking and performing at its best. Manufacturers recommend having your carpet professionally deep-cleaned every 12 to 18 months. Bear in mind that this recommended frequency is a general guideline only and can vary based on your particular circumstances. For example it is recommended that pet owners and households of five or more people have their carpets professionally cleaned twice a year.
Q: I have children/pets, will they be affected by cleaning processes/products?
A: We use non-toxic products that are safe for pets, children and the environment. Our quick-drying, odour-free promise means there's no need to open the windows or keep the heating on whilst waiting for carpets to dry.
Q: Will you be able to remove all spots and stains ?
The products we use are multi-award-winning leaders in their field. We don't have a magic wand as many liquids and foods tend to have dyes in them which can be difficult to remove. However, we will do our utmost to make them disappear, but we can’t guarantee to fully remove all spots and stains but if we can’t make them disappear, generally nobody can.
Q: How long do I have to wait for my carpets to dry ?
A: The ZERO DRY TIME cleaning processes do not leave your carpets wet or soggy, so you can walk on them immediately.!
Q: Do I have to move furniture before a clean
A: In most cases, our technicians will be happy to move furniture such as sofas, armchairs, small tables, dining tables & chairs. Moving/removal of furniture will be discussed at the time of the survey/quotation being carried out. However, it is important that any breakable, valuable and small items are removed by the customer prior to the technician arriving. This enables the technician to provide a thorough clean.
Q: How much will it cost
A. Pricing will vary depending on a number of factors, such as the size of the room, the condition/soiling of the areas to be cleaned, the amount of furniture in the room and the amount of cleaning required.
The National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) highly recommend that technicians carry out a detailed inspection before commencing any work. This ensures the technician fully understands the work required, applies the most appropriate cleaning process, provides a thorough clean and highlights any potential issues. We therefore are unable to provide a quote without carrying out an on-site survey first.
With the cheap carpet cleaning prices, the carpets may look great whilst still damp but as they dry the deep soils and stains can wick back through the surface leaving them looking only a little better or potentially even worse than before the clean.
We are not the cheapest carpet cleaners you could call. As premium cleaners we pride ourselves on high quality of work, attention to detail and customer satisfaction. If quality of workmanship and service are more important to you than a cheap price, then you need to contact Zero Dry Time.
